Have you ever written a great blog and are having trouble finding the perfect featured image? Featured images are extremely important for any blog. Not only do they make your blog post look awesome, but they are helpful when your blog post gets shared on social media. Facebook and Twitter will pull your featured image and show it in your tweets and status updates.
This is extremely helpful because your social media posts have a higher likelihood of engagement when you use an image. Finding the perfect image can be tough, but it doesn’t have to be. Keep reading to check out some great sources for free stock images.
Google is not your only option for finding the perfect free stock images. Pexels, Pixabay, and Unsplash are my favorite sites for finding free stock images. I will give you some brief reasons why I like each of these sites.
If you are looking for a cool looking photo, this is the place for you to find some great minimalist photos. The photos on Pexels also have a lot of nice filters so if you like that Instagram look for your photos, this is the place for you. The selection is not as great as Pixabay and Unsplash.
The great thing about Pixabay is that they have an extensive library of photos and vector images to choose from. I can find what I am looking for 80% of the time.
This is my new go-to place for free stock images. They have some of the classiest looking photos for free. I think of Unsplash as the perfect blend of Pexels and Pixabay. It has an huge selection of photos and also includes some flash photos like Pexels does.
